CarScout recognizes that if a customer is interested in a 2005 Volkswagen Jetta 2.5 with 15,000 miles priced around $20,000, they may also be interested in the 2005 Honda Civic EX with 12,000 miles priced at $19,900 that was just added to inventory from a trade-in. Offering alternatives gives dealers a chance to move stock more quickly.

Immediately after the form is submitted, CarScout scans current inventory to locate any vehicles that match or are similar to visitors' requests. If no match is found, the request will not be forgotten. As inventory turns, CarScout remembers the criteria and automatically sends a personalized email with vehicle information and photos that correspond to the customer's original specifications. A live salesperson is not required, content is relevant and the customer can opt out at any time.
